Or maybe the person who was telling the story decided that they didn't know what time period the story was in && just said that to cover everything all at once (Smart bastard)
But hey, what if someone time traveled && threatened the person that if they didn't use once upon a time that it'd be the end of civilization as we know it?!

| So I'm sure everyone has heard about the whole Miley Cyrus picture ordeal. I've seen the photo && honestly, this is stupid. I think the photo is really great && people are criticizing it like she's flashing her breasts and vagina for the world to see. I mean if she wore a dress that was really low back && she had wet hair && gave cameras that look on the red carpet this would not be a huge ordeal. Everyone who participated agreed to it and thought it was not skanky or scandalous. The sad thing is that everyone, mainly adults, are intepreting this the wrong way. They act like she pulled a prostitute scam or a Marilyn Monroe affair. The girl just took an artistic photo and because she is famous and still legally a "child" the "adults" are all like SCANDALOUS. The only reason Miley should be apologizing is...wait..THERE ISN'T ONE. She's apologizing because she loves her fans and she'll do things to appease them. Nope. Not even her fans. She's technically apologizing to their parents because most of her fans are "children" too && most likely they don't see this photo as like Playboy or Maxim. Sometimes you wonder how sex oriented our society is if a simple young lady can't even take an artistically wonderful photo without suggesting to sex related ideals. | | |

Well...Today's Valentine's Day. So Happy Valentine's Day to everyone out there ;)
So there are probably some people out there, who complain about how they never get anything for Valentine's Day or what not && you know what I have to say? So what?
I mean, from my point of view, Valentine's Day is a day where you show the people you love that you love them. If no one gives you anything, it doesn't mean that they don't love you. Perhaps they don't believe in materialistic things. Perhaps they wnat to express their love for you on a day when no one else does. Perhaps they just flat out don't love you that much.
Bottom line? DEAL WITH IT.
I pretty much didn't get anything today but I really don't care. It would have been nice to receive something but I think all the fun I had on Valentine's Day came from me buying things for people. I didn't expect anything from anyone but I wanted to give people things because I think it's nice to let people know that you appreciate them.
So that's what I did. I stopped moping && did something useful. I mean I had more fun buying gifts for my boyfriend && making cookies for everyone than I did receiving anything.
So that's my rant on Valentine's Day. Hope everyone had a good one && if not, maybe next year huh? | | |
